I finally found your site and was delighted to find these steel cots. I like that they are made of steel and I love that they are designed so that the support comes from underneath instead of the sides. I was worried about the width but my husband likes a long cot and the narrow one was the only one that came in an acceptable length. It takes a little getting used to but I find that I can sleep quite well if I remember to stay centered and it saves alot of room in my tent. I also love the support system of springs and tarp. I have a bad back and the addition of my 3″ foam to this cot makes it extremely comfortable. I think the bar legs are easier on the floor of my tent and being able to just unfold them makes set up a breeze. I also love that you can sit on the cots to dress, visit or play games. The additional storage the cot adds by being off the floor is a bonus._x000D_
I have used this cot for sleeping away from home as I know I will get a good nights sleep. I have used it for camping and find it’s great as long as the floor is fairly even. I have even used it as a guest bed, although it does take some getting used to and I am thinking of purchasing a wider one for this purpose._x000D_
All in all, I am totally delighted with these cots and have used mine extensively. They seem to be holding up pretty well to the weight issue so only time will tell how long they will last but I expect to be using them for sometime to come._x000D_

They did suggest a wider cot for comfort but I figured I slept on my foam already and it isn’t any wider than the cots so it’s worked out well._x000D_

Was considering building a sleeping platform in my Honda Odyssey van and then decided instead to simply purchase a cot. This one fit the bill perfectly: it’s sturdy, firm, made of good construction, and the fact that it has “open” support legs allows me tons of storage below. Plus, when propped up, I have a stellar 360 view from the interior of my van. I put my paco-pad on top of it but there was still a slight sag, not from the cot tarp being hung too loosely, but just the nature of a cot in general, so I added a narrow therma-rest below the paco-pad as filler, and it’s perfect. Also, better than a handmade, wood sleeping platform because it folds and stores beautiful.
