Emergency Response & Shelter Cots

These are commonly referred to as Emergency Response Cots, Disaster Response Cots, or Shelter Cots.  Governmental agencies such as FEMA, state, and local emergency response agencies commonly keep these on hand for public emergencies.

Likewise, private organizations and nonprofits often keep quantities of these types of cots on hand as part of their inventory as these can be an efficient means to rapidly adapt to changing bed requirements as the need arises.

These are usually housed on carts that permit easy deployment in times of crisis and afford an efficient use of space while being stored.
