Missouri stae parks are waiving all camping fees for those displaced by the recent floods that have swept through the Deep South and Midwest, dislocating thousands of people.
The offer is good at the Trail of Tears State Park near Jackson, Missouri and Lake Wappapello State Park and will last for 30 days.
This is a laudable gesture and I hope other state parks in affected areas enact similar policies.
