Important Shipping Information
- Shipping for heavy or long products is shipped via LTL Freight (Less Than Truckload Freight).
- There are several factors that can affect accurate freight costs so it is important the customer take care in entering the correct address information to avoid delays or subsequent adjustments to their freight costs.
- Freight costs are calculated after address information is added during the checkout process and are considered to be estimates. Should there be any change in the freight cost estimate provided at checkout (when incorrect address is entered for example), the customer will be notified prior to the product being shipped. Upon approval by the customer, any additional shipping cost would be charged to the customer.
- Customers are responsible for being available to take delivery when the product is delivered. Residential customers are responsible for taking delivery and it is the customer who is responsible for moving the product after it is lowered from the truck on the lift gate. For heavy products, you will need to have your help there, if needed, to assist you with moving the product when the truck arrives.
- Optional Appointment Delivery. During checkout one of the Freight cost options (additional cost) will be for the customer to schedule a delivery.
- Business customers are likewise responsible for taking possession of the product at the time of delivery and the movement of the product at that time.
- Any additional costs incurred as a result of delays in taking possession of the product at the time of delivery will be charged to the customer.
Returns and Refunds
A Return Authorization must be obtained in the event a customer wishes to return a product. Unlike smaller products, heavy steel bunk beds and cots require special handling because of their size, weight, and shipping requirements. The customer shall be responsible for Shipping Costs to return the product and shall incur a 20% manufacturer’s restocking fee except for returns having a product defect. Any return shipping costs and restocking fees will be deducted from the refund.

The bunk beds I ordered serve a great purpose! We have a hurricane recovery volunteer camp, and we needed something for the dormitories. These bunk beds were the answer. You couldn’t ask for better construction. I’m a 290 pound man, and I climbed up on top to see how sturdy they are, and found out that they can support me, AND someone else! On-line ordering was very easy and the shipment arrived on-time as promised. In all we have ordered 50+ beds (25 sets) and are pleased with them all. They are virtually indestructible in their construction. These units are used by our staff (adult men) and although I wouldn’t recommend using them for everyday long-term use (as they are a little narrow) they work great for the small footprint available for our sleeping spaces. If we need additional units in the future, we will come back here for them.

Army-style is true, emphasis on the “style”. This wouldn’t last long in the Army or in an institution, but it is more rugged than your average wooden bunk bed. For home use, I like it. Takes up less room than standard twin bunk. Twin sheets will be too wide but they work. Sleeping two young men (not kids) comfortably.

Adapters connecting top and bottom beds were damaged, but properly replaced. Beds are very good, strong and stable, but mattresses are very thin and need foam pads on top.
